Battery Installation
You Will Need:
9-volt alkaline battery (Duracell®, Energizer®)
Step 1 – Remove Keypad Housing
Turn the keypad counterclockwise till it cannot move (about 20 degrees) and pull it off from the entry pad base.
Step 2 – Install Battery
Place a new 9-volt alkaline battery into the battery compartment.
Step 3 – Check Battery Position
Ensure the battery is properly seated with the positive and negative terminals in the correct position.
Step 4 – Reinstall Battery Housing
Place the keypad back onto the base and turn it clockwise until it stops and is securely locked into place.
*Please Note: After installing a new battery, wait 5 minutes before using the lock. The electronic lock may emit a series of beeps during startup. This is normal and will stop once initialization is complete.
Lock Instructions
FACTORY SET COMBINATION: 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS PERFORM THIS OPERATION WITH THE DOOR OPEN AND BOLTS EXTENDED.
We recommend that you change your Manager Code before you begin using your new gun safe. It is a simple process but must be executed exactly.
First, select a six (6) digit code that you can easily remember and then follow the instructions below:
Step 1
Enter six (6) zeros to enter programming mode. If done correctly, you will hear one beep, indicating the system is ready for the code to change.
Step 2
Enter your existing six (6) digit Manager Code. If done correctly, you will hear one beep.
Step 3
Enter your newly selected six (6) digit Manager Code. If done correctly, you will hear one beep.
Step 4
Enter the new six (6) digit Manager Code again to confirm your selection. If done correctly, you will hear one beep, indicating the code change was successful.
If you hear three beeps, the code change was unsuccessful, and your existing Manager Code is still valid. Repeat Steps 1–4.
Step 5
Before closing the safe door, verify your new Manager Code at least three (3) times to ensure it has been programmed correctly.
Note: The system will return to standby mode if no key is pressed within 10 seconds. Standby mode is indicated by two short beeps.
