Battery Installation

You Will Need:

  1. 9-volt alkaline battery (Duracell®, Energizer®)
  2. Phillips head screwdriver

Step 1 – Open Slide Door

Open the Slide door located on the bottom of the keypad.

Step 2 – Remove Old Battery

Gently pull the battery connector and wires down.

Step 3 – Connect New Battery

Attach the new battery (9-volt alkaline only) to the connector.

Be careful not to pull on the wires.

Step 4 – Reinsert Battery

Carefully insert the battery back into the keypad until the wires are no longer exposed and slide the door closed.

Lock Instructions

FACTORY SET COMBINATION: 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – 5 – 6

IMPORTANT: ALWAYS PERFORM THIS OPERATION WITH THE DOOR OPEN AND BOLTS EXTENDED.

Step 1

Enter zero (0) six times. (You will hear a double beep, indicating program mode).

Step 2

Enter your existing six (6) digit combination one time. (You will hear a double beep)

Step 3

Enter your NEW six (6) digit combination. (You will hear a double beep)

Step 4

Enter your new six (6) digit combination again.

Step 5

Wait approximately 10 seconds and then enter your new combination, and then rotate the handle to open the safe door.

Step 6

Test lock operation several times before closing the door.
